Unsolicited Advice
I admit I give a fair amount of advice to people no matter who they are no matter what they do. However, I have no problem with people giving me advice, usually. Today, I learned there was an exception to this rule: I can not take advice from people who can not be bothered to listen to the entire story. I know snap judgements are all the rage but if you want me to listen to what you are saying. You have to suffer through the ENTIRE story. Anything else just pisses me off and makes your advice worthless.

Leaving
Today, you told me you were finally making the move. I do not know how to feel. You will create memories in a place I have never been and I understand that you are creating a future with and without me.

Cure
I am told there is a cure
Everything fixed with one tiny pill
My ability to feel my lows desert me
All I have to do is continue taking that small pill
This is not a cure
The beginning of a new addiction
Taking what has made me
Everything fixed with one tiny pill
My ability to feel my lows desert me
All I have to do is continue taking that small pill
This is not a cure
The beginning of a new addiction
Taking what has made me

Nothing Compares to You
When I am traveling I always go back to the last person I thought I loved, I wonder where he is and what he is doing. I have to hope life is treating him better without me than it did when we were together,
Unfortunately, the last person I was in love with did not return the sentiment, so we were never together. We were... well I was in transition I was learning to stop lying and finding that the truth was indeed harder. He liked the old me but for me, she was too hard to live with. It has been four years; maybe I need to stop thinking of him when I travel.

New Clothes
Recently, I was reminded of the emperor's new clothes. You remember that old chesnut(perhaps the first time public nudity made you laugh). I thought who was I in the story. I think I am the little boy telling people very plainly what is really going on. The part they don't tell you is that people prefer that you don't tell them they are naked. I guess that makes me the fool.
I guess that means I am the emperor then. Even though I suspect something is wrong when people spend most of their day lying to you, I am constantly told that I have to learn how to do this.
